As an organization proudly affiliated with Lions International, we have dedicated the past 25 years to advancing community welfare through impactful initiatives in health, education, and social awareness. This year marks a significant milestone – We celebrate 25 transformative years of unity, compassion, and purpose—where every step has been a stride toward a better world. As a dynamic, women-led chapter Lions Club of Bangalore Ladybird has spent a quarter-century weaving compassion into action, from eco-conscious drives to holistic wellness campaigns.
As we commemorate 25 Glorious Years of Service, we take immense pride in our flagship initiative: Ladybird Lions Home for Children – a permanent project that reflects our enduring commitment to nurturing futures.
The Ladybird Lions Home for Children, a sanctuary of hope for underprivileged children, located at K.R. Puram, Bangalore, founded by a passionate group of women volunteers, the Home is registered under a trust with 80G certification, established in 2012 ensuring transparency and accountability in all our initiatives. Today, the Home provides shelter, education, healthcare, and emotional support to 25 children—primarily girls from vulnerable backgrounds. Over the years, we have nurtured many young lives, ensuring they grow in an environment of safety, dignity, and opportunity.
Our Work:
• Education & Skill Development: Formal schooling, vocational training, and digital literacy programs.
• Healthcare & Nutrition: Regular health camps, medical check-ups, and balanced nutrition.
• Cultural & Social Integration: Arts, sports, and cultural activities for holistic growth.
• Community Outreach: Health camps, awareness drives, and fundraising initiatives.
Current Initiatives:
• Monthly health camps for children and nearby communities.
• Mental health and awareness sessions.
• Mentorship programs connecting children with professionals for career guidance.
• Extra-curricular activities for overall personality development.
