Familiarity among the Lions as a dedicated community server and leader, Lion Aswathanarayan Swamy, District Governor of our District 317 E, began his journey in engineering and industry, expanding his expertise to community service. He is well-respected among the Lion's fraternity for his commitment to service and development.Lion Aswathanarayan Swamy is a well-established industrialist and government-approved electrical contractor with 35 years of experience in the engineering sector. Starting his career in 1979 at NGEF, he ventured into entrepreneurship in 1982, successfully expanding from one unit to five units. His leadership and entrepreneurial skills are evident in his development of warehouses, industrial buildings, and school buildings, showcasing his commitment to infrastructure development.

Joined the movement in 2001 and has served with distinction in various capacities including Club Treasurer, Club Secretary, Club President, Zone Chairperson, DC Hearing Preservation Awareness & Action, DC for Youth, DC for Eye Camps, DC for Scholarship, LCIF District Coordinator, and Trustee of SRC Speech & Hearing Institute.

Having served in Lionism, he has received numerous accolades including Best President Medal, Two International President's Medals, Four International President's Appreciation Certificates, and Best Zone Chairperson Award, demonstrating his exceptional service and leadership.

Lion Aswathanarayan Swamy, PMJF is happily married to Smt. Dhanalakshmi, and they are blessed with two daughters, Shilpa and Spandana, completing their family circle.
Lion Aswathanarayan Swamy, PMJF will serve as the District Governor for the Lionistic Year 2025-26, following his role as First Vice District Governor in 2024-2025.
